LOVING WITH PATIENCE
“The fisher who draws in his net too soon,
Won’t have any fish to sell;
The child who shuts up his book too soon,
Won’t learn any lessons well.
Be patient—don’t learn too fast.”
The Definition of Patience: the capacity to tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. The ability to wait without losing one’s peace of mind.
Synonyms: tolerance, restraint, kindness
Antonyms: exasperation, annoyance, anger
St. Paul to the Colossians: “Put on, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience”….(3:12-17)
