A PRAYER FOR MORAL COURAGE (Max Oliva, SJ)

Dear God, please give me the courage to always stand for what is right in Your sight. Give me the wisdom to know when to act quickly and wisely, and the strength to speak truth to power regardless of personal cost.

Please fill me with Your Spirit, give me hope, and make my heart both compassionate and courageous.  Amen

Mark 5:36  …“Do not fear, only believe.”

Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.

Matthew 22:39-40“And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ “On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Matthew 18:3 Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
